Join the Center during the last two weekends in March for their 46th annual Maple Sugaring Weekends. Visitors can enjoy steaming-hot stacks of locally-sourced pancakes inside the nature center before heading outdoors for trail demonstrations that explore the science of sap and the long cultural history of tapping maple trees in our region. Your walk will end at the sugar shack, where you can see first-hand the process of boiling sap down to syrup and take a sip of nature’s tastiest sugar.
With 45 years of experience, it’s guaranteed to be one of the sweetest experiences of your year!
The dining room will be open from 9am-1pm each day, and guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each pancake breakfast ticket includes admission to the Maple Sugaring trail demonstration.
