Heritage Maker Workshop Series: Stone Carving

The tradition of stone carving dates back thousands of years, and the fundamental techniques of this ancient art are still used today. Students in the Introduction to Stone Carving class will explore the basics of stone carving with expert instructor Joe Allgeier in this two-day small-group, hands-on session. Students will learn how to use a subtractive method of carving to create a small alabaster sculpture to take home. All tools and materials are included with registration.
