Beginning Blacksmithing: Fireplace Poker

Beginner blacksmithing builds on the Fundamentals of Blacksmithing course, and introduces students to the challenge of working with thicker metals. Students create a fireplace poker with decorative twists and a tapered handle. Students are required to have either taken the introduction class or have prior experience blacksmithing. There is a maximum of four students per session for increased one-on-one instruction.

Materials are included in the cost of the class.
