Backpacking 101

Have you ever wanted to try out backpacking? This class offers the chance to try out equipment and see how it works, take a short hike where we try carrying a full backpack, and learn backpacking tips from a seasoned backpacking guide and CNC educator, Lann.
Participants will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and experiment with gear. We’ll also cook hot chocolate on a backpacking stove! This program is designed for adults and older kids
About the Instructor:
Lann has extensive experience backpacking in the Finger Lakes, Adirondacks and Yosemite National Park but has backpacked as far away as New Zealand. At the request of friends and organizations, she has led numerous beginner trips. She loves sharing her passion with others!
